I have a lot of things to address today so I'm going with an old fashioned outline.
1. Some of my pictures of my Monterey are being featured at Shorelines and Sunshine as the Shoreline of the Month! Be sure to go check our Sarah's lovely blog and see some more of the beauty that surrounds us in California.
2. I completely forgot to wish you a Happy March 1st yesterday! March 1st is one of my favorite days of the year (you can read why HERE).
3. My mom comes tomorrow! Eeeeeeee (that's my happy squeal) I am so excited!
4. I have a big announcement coming on Monday. There will be a giveaway involved. Everyone loves a giveaway.
5. So did GFC go away for non-blogger users? (And might it still possibly go away for blogger?) I have not seen any noticeable changes on my reader.
6. On to Friday Fancies. This week is all about the color of the year: Tangerine! I went a bit different and didn't use one complete outfit, but instead just a few inspirations of how I could incorporate this vibrant color into my life.

*Clearly, we must begin this discussion with the shoes (Brian Atwood platform shoes, $550). If I had $550 laying around (which I don't, and if I did, would probably not actually spend on shoes) these babies would be in my closet.
*How perfect would this little number (Sportmax floral print dress, £284) be for an Auburn gameday?
*I feel like this bag (Beaded handbag, $68) would be something that Jamie from Furbish Studio would sell. And since I think everything she does is cool, this little clutch makes my list.
*I want these (Tory Burch wrap bracelet, $95)
*I'm loving big studs right now like these colorful floral ones (Gemstone earrings).
*With my mom coming this weekend, I am already thinking about the design changes we will make to my house. New couch pillows are definitely in order (Tabasco Floral Leaves 18" Pillow set of 2, $68 and Illusion Tile Print Turquoise Pillow Pair)

Yay for mom coming to visit! Everyone visiting me usually gets treated to a restaurant tour of Portland. If there isn't food and wine and beer, there's no point really :)
